THE CHRONOLOGICAL STRUCTURE OF THE PROPHET'S MARRIAGES |
Salih Tug, PhD
"Two things have appeared pleasant to me from your world: women and fresh scent; yet salat (ritual prayer) is to me dearest."
In none of the hadiths has Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) commanded people to lead a life dedicated purely to taqwa (God-consciousness) and zuhd (ascetism) and secluded from society and social relations.

The Prophet (pbuh) comes to the mosque just before he died, and asks to all people whether there is someone, who has any asset from him. The Prophet insists on asking, and someone demands for money about 3 dirhem from The Prophet. Then his liability is paid.
Again in this time, The Prophet asks to her wife, Aiþe, what happened to money about 7 dirhem (in some hadith 6 dirhem, in other hadith 9 dirhem). Aisha gives money to the Prophet and The Prophet (pbuh) distributes 5 dirhem to 5 needy families from Ensar and gives the left money to his wifes to spend.

THE TABLE OF THE PROPHET'S FAMILY |
Celal Yeniceri, PhD
The food served in Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)'s household was of modest quality, yet was rich in terms of helping the poor and praising Allah. Nothing of a forbidden nature was ever included on the Prophet's table.
Prophet Muhammad said "Eat the food together, do not be separate; bounties undoubtedly come from eating together", stating that eating alone is not productive and that it is necessary for a family to sit together at the table.
